That's a good idea. Books can only teach us so much. Real life ppl with experience of the breed would be the best informants.

Parental supervision is the only way. Also not allowing computers in the bedroom etc., they must be in an area where parents can supervise.

I couldn't agree more with the statement about supervision and not having computers in bedrooms!!! Some parents are either very niave or just do not care! It's very sad!

Agree with you Amy. I am not sure what direction this world is going in. See 10 year olds roaming the street at midnight.
We never did that! No way our parents would allow it.

Must admit my son is like that. He's not interested in the do's and disco's. Or hanging in the mall and all that.

I asked if I could have the computer in my bedroom I wasnt allowed lol.
Mum knows I am on this forum and all the stuff I am on. She DOES sometimes look over my shoulder, but she respects my privacy when it comes to my talking to my mates on MSN.

I am the opposite to you Boxerini. I want to go to the disco in town. Mum wont let me though, because its 'dangerous.' Grr LOL Hopefully one day she wll let me.

I am allowed to walk places with friends and I hang out at the skater/etc. Mum gives me alot of trust, but discos are a no-go area.

Wow! That is young! I expected you to be at least 16. Do your parents know you post on this forum? Do they know your username?
