    Yahoo, pic's at last.

Now come on, surely that's not all we get to see??

And I don't think I've seen a picture of her partner in crime??

Please don't send me off to search in some other thread or something, remember that I am computer illiterate.

    ok...had to investigate

The original Rex is Santo vom Haus Zieglmayer (also known as Reginald von Ravenhorst) and was born on June 1st 1991 in Germany. He passed away in 2003. His role as Rex was taken over by GSD Rhett Butler who played Inspector Rex from 1997 - 2007. When they started filming Inspector Rex again...an American dog got the part and his name is Henry.

Very true Occy. They use the older dogs for the more complex tasks & the babies/younger dogs as a training exercise until they're up to speed.

And this piece of trivia stunned me a bit ..... the actors change when a dog retires & a new dog takes over the "lead" role. If the new dog doesn't like the current actor, he's out & they get someone that the new dog likes to work with. Damn it ... that actor that played Moser was a hottie & he had great chemistry with the dog.

DA ... Google. I have the complete set & can send you "back ups" I used a lot of what I saw on that show to train Zena.

I loved the movie where it showed Rex as a pup and how he became a police dog - they are all just magnificent! And yes, Moser was a hottie!

I'll get back to you on that Lynne, and thanks. It sounds interesting. I remember Rin Tin Tin though.
