prehaps back when dogs were used as protection around a camp or something similar and cropping the ears was done to not give the wild boar/wild animals something to grab onto then I see its purpose.

Dogs who are pets and at this time in the world, I see no need. (excluding working dogs I guess)

I think Rottweilers with docked tail look beautiful and didn't really like the whole tail thing...that was until my Rottweiler Odin...he had a beautiful set tail...nice and thick

IMO there are some breeds that need to be docked (OES, like sheep, can get flyblone). But there are some breeds that it is not needed. Even then some individuals need docking due to breaks or occupation.
I can not see any medical reason for ear clipping.

Box if I can please ask you... Be very careful of what you are putting in your threads. This can be a valid discussion but it can very easily turn into a sh!tfight, so just be careful.

What, I make a mistake, and I get my head taken off? Jeez. I'm beginning to get sick of some people. I dont have as much knowledge as some people, but by my comment on the Boxers, that was just a generalisation. Some breeds need their tails taken off, because of what they do, IMO.

I've never seen a rotty with a tail before. I like them with tails.
Ashaari, I'm trying to be careful, triple-checking most posts, but I'm beginning to feel like Im being targeted. Every second post I get told off, or yelled at. Jeez. And Cleasanta, please don't tell me to take it up with Morgan about the targeting thing. I get it.

Boxerini...I told you this...if you do not want to be perceived as another Disney...you have got to take stock and think before you type!

People are not targeting anybody...they are reacting to your threads/posts...pure and simple.
