Is this to help you narrow down your breed choice again?? I am genuinely curious about the motives for all these questions as it does seem a tad excessive but here you go:

    1. How many dogs do you have? Two

    2. What are their names? Batty & Ben (Lives with my father on the farm in NSW)

    3. What breed are they? Kelpie x & ACD x

    4. What sex? Both Male

    5. What colour are they? Black with Blue Roan Points & Blue Roan with Black Markings

    6. How often do you train for, and for how long?
Batty: 5 mins x 4 times per day x 7 days per week. I always leave him wanting more, he works harder the next session when I do.

Ben gets worked 5 days a week (herding dog) and has the weekends off.

    7. What do you feed them? Innova Holistic Evo combined with Barf & Barf only (the patties)

    8. Are they desexed? Yes

    9. How often do they get to interact with dogs other than your own? Batty: Very often

    10. Do you prefer to use hand signals or voice commands when training? Both, and I like the dogs to respond to both individually.

    11. How much do they weigh? Batty: 11kgs Ben: 22kgs

    12. how much time do they get to spend with you each day? Batty: 90% of the day Ben: I see him once a month when I go home for the weekend.

    13. Do they sleep on your bed? Ben on the floor at the end of dad's bed. Batty in his crate around the corner from my room.

    14. What types of treats do you use for training? Happy Paws Training Treats - Perfect Pooch, Roast Chicken and sometimes just a little ham.

    15. Do you clicker-train, and does it work for you well? Yes and yes. It has to be done properly or it won't work. I prefer to capture and shape the behaviours than lure the dog into them.

ETA: I think I have far too many pics on here already!

    1. How many dogs do you have?
    one bitch

    2. What is her name?
Frosty (Note - lie when you answer this question if your dog's name is used as a password for any of your stuff)

    3. What breed is she?
    Blue Heeler Cross Bitza

    4. What sex?
    Female

    5. What colour are they?
Black and white and slightly brown speckles with a couple of patches of brown-black

    6. How often do you train for, and for how long?
As often as she lets me, usually in five minute spurts. We do an obedience class and an agility class for 30 minutes, once a week weather permitting (ie two classes a week).

    7. What do you feed her?
Home made casserole and kibble: nutro natural choice chicken, rice and oatmeal adult. Sometimes yogurt in with the kibble.

Snacks: carob pods, beef chips (rawhide), carrots.

Very occasionally she gets a marrow bone under close supervision, as soon as she starts breaking it up, I take it away.

    8. Are they desexed?
yes and microchipped and tattooed appropriately.

    9. How often do they get to interact with dogs other than your own?
every day, usually twice a day.

    10. Do you prefer to use hand signals or voice commands when training?
I use both. No preference though I know when she gets old she's likely to go deaf so if hand signals work that would be best.

    11. How much do they weigh?
23.4kg (weighed at the vet yesterday)

    12. how much time do they get to spend with you each day?
Most of it. Sometimes I'm gone without her for between 3 and 6 hours but that's not every day.

    13. Do they sleep on your bed?
Not unless it's first thing in the morning and I'm supposed to be getting up and we're having a naughty sleep in. Every now and again she has a go at sleeping on the bed and we both remember why she sleeps in her own bed next to mine.

    14. What types of treats do you use for training?
(training) treats: roast beef, wholemeal bread, dried liver, nature's gift (each bit cut into three), optimum kitten kibble, itty bitty brownies liver biscuits, She frequently cadges treats off other people. Not sure I like what happens to smackos having recently seen some that she ate and had to return (so to speak). Ie smackos remain intact for a very long time, mind you so does the grass she eats.

    15. Do you clicker-train, and does it work for you well?
Not often. Sometimes. For specific tasks. I'm a bit unco with the clicker. It works well if I get it right.
