Default Took Herself for a Walk

Gemma took herself for a walk. Don't know where she got out. Sitting outside tapping away on laptop waiting to see where she heads off to. But doubt she will go anywhere for a while she's buggered.

Took herself off to swim in next doors creek. There is a lot of rabbits around at the moment so I'd say that has enticed her to make the effort.

Silly girl was looking back at me thru the fence as though to say, I'm buggered mum can I come home now.

Grrrr. Electric fence has not been on for a while now. Guess it will be now.

Thankfully the Whippets didn't want to go with her.

She is a total mess and we washed her yesterday and the leeches are dropping off her, just great.

Naughty Gemma! Gawd, I read the first sentence and before I read the rest I was nearly ready to get in the car to come help find her!

Hope you find the escape route - although she's going to get a bit of a shock (haha pun intended!) when the leccy fence gets turned on!

So glad she didn't get far!

Salt or vinegar will kill the leeches so they can't get onto the other animals.

Got to love how they get stuck outside the fence and can't work out how to get back though!

ouch! Thats not good. I second the "luck the whippets didnt go too" bit, we have some whips that are excapeartists and when they breakout together they can be gone for hours

Thanks Greys. The cooler weather is here so it's "Gemma time"

Time to push mums buttons, time to rabbit hunt, time for lots of grooming and baths, time to visit the dogs down the road and time still left over to push more of mums buttons.

When we first moved here she would take herself off, the fences were raised, still managed to get over, not a pretty sight, basically climbed them then fell over the other side. So we did the electric fence to keep her in and others away from the girls.

Don't know when it was turned off, think I might of done it when SS13 was mowing as I was worried about him touching it. didn't think it needed to go back on. Silly me, we are talking about Gemma the dilemma.

When it comes to icky critters we have them all here, leeches, ticks etc so I'm sitting with the salt waiting for them to drop off her.

They don't like the whippets which is good and neither do the ticks but I still check twice a day.

The whippets like home, we can leave gates and doors open and they sun themselves on the front porch, not Gem, straight down into the bush or swimming in either next doors creek or their beautiful swimming pool. Guess our clam shell filled with water is not good enough.

DA life is never dull with our Gemma.

I keep trying to tell her I like a dull life. This is why I have one of her and 5 Whippets.

I would go stark raving mad if there were two of her.
