They feel very warm to touch so they are the perfect little cuddle buddies

The "hairy hairless" type do get fine little hairs on their body which you shave off so a few days after 'shave day' they feel a bit prickly (same as your legs do after you shave them)
The "true hairless" has little to no body hair, but also the hair on their head and legs is fairly sparse.

I opted for the hairy hairless because i liked the look of a thicker mane and leg hair

I like dogs that are smart, not too demanding, not slobbery, like a bit of exercise but like sleeping too, and are easy care - eg short coat, no dredlocks, and can eat most anything.

I think I missed out on the "eat most anything" well she does but it stuffs her up. Cattle dogs suit me great. I like pointy ears on a dog too but that's just cosmetic. It's what's inside that counts.

But if I could have any dog - I do like standard poodles, dalmations (though they can be a little intellectually challenged sometimes), whippets, and I like the look of those pointy eared Egyptian style sight hounds - there's a number of them - so I've found out - but I've never spent much time with any except one really obnoxious and badly socialised one.

Also like greyhounds. Wish they were a bit more playful sometimes though.

After Frosty I was hoping to find something just like her only smaller/lighter - is there such a thing as a short haired sheltie? Or maybe it will be something like a whippet - I don't know yet. It might be some new bitza from the pound again.

I always liked Azawakh Hound, but never got it. Although I'm not really into sight hounds, they are impressive and I love their independent nature, elegance and wisdom.

They're quite rare and I don't think I'd be able to give it what it needs in terms of excercise and time. But who knows...

All I can see when I look at the photo of the Azawakhs is Zombie dogs
They do look cool, but they would feel creepier to touch than my Crested

Hyc, are you thinking of the Pharaoh Hound?

Nice sleek looking dog, a crazier than the whippet and a whole lot more so than the Greyhound.
