Default My Baby Boy Has Gone to His New Home

He will have the company of two other whippets, albeit a little old but they were lovely and Boyd puppet did all the right roll overs etc and submitted to their investigations of him.

I've got that sad/glad feeling that's hard to describe, well, no, if I'm honest I feel like having a good cry.

I hope she keeps her promise and sends photo's, I'm fairly certain she will and it was nice of her to bring her old guys down from Newcastle to meet me.

She bought a friend with her and spent nearly two hours trying to make a decision.

She came for one of the two remaining girls but ended up with the only boy.

A couple more go tomorrow and then a couple next week.

Have a good cry! I have a little tear in my eye too having just met them, I think Boyd was my favourite - and Dad was my other favourite! Must be a boy thing.

You do an amazing job with the puppers, but I understand the happy/sad thing, I get like it too when my fosters go to a forever home.

You could always threaten her with a visit from Cleas if she doesn't send you photos!

    I did a terrible thing.

I asked the potential puppy buyers their home address for microchip paperwork and then did a google search and looked for fences etc.

    Sounds awful doesn't it.

Yep MAC, and re other thread, if you tell her that Cleas has no arms or hands and scuttles her bum along the carpet to wipe her butt then I'm SURE she will send you photos non-stop.

Um, I'm lost MAC, why is that awful? Anyone buying a puppy or dog should be more than prepared to have breeder come to their premises, or a friend of breeder, or at least photos.

Mad crazy woman with three dogs who scoots on bum will descend on you if you do not keep me up-dated with annual photo's.

Hmmm...I do want to find these puppets forever homes not get Cleas committed to the funny farm and me not far behind her LOL.

I guess I'm a fairly private person and yet I was sneaky and poked around. I rang the home number she gave me to get details and then rang the mobile number to get other details.

    You'd think I didn't trust people, but I do.

I did have a good feeling about her but I still checked as much as I could out.
