Hey Demi and Crested, we might all love different breeds, or prefer different breeds, but the one thing we have in common is that we all love dogs!

I'm not sure there's any breed I particularly dislike... although I'm not keen on poodles. I don't know why, all the ones I've ever met (my nan, aunt & best friend all had them) have been lovely, but there's just something about them.

There are a few I wouldn't own, not because I don't like them but because they aren't suited to my lifestyle / personality. I must say, I'd love to own a big dog one day - I've always had little dogs - but I'm not sure how I'd go with it! I love being able to pick up my babies and give them cuddles. I do also love the fact that if something happens I can just pick them up and move them out of harms way.

Exactly! I love all dogs, I mean if someone knocked on my door and said "Take this Chihuahua or I'll kill it" of coarse I would take it! I would love it and care for it, no problem at all, just if I am actually buying a dog there are certain breeds I prefer.

I certainly understand peoples love of 'mutts' and why people think breed standards are silly, but I personally am the other way around. I like to know what my dog is/should look like.
It's all opinion and I respect everyones differences.

Wanna hear a funny mix that a friend of mine did.
It was an accidental mating, she never intended for these dogs to be in the same yard, let alone mate...

I'm not a little dog person. Nor poodle, staffy and many of the spaniels.

I'm also not a huge fan of the breeds with squished faces. Some bulldogs are handsome looking dogs, but with the breathing/overheating issue, I can't see the point and can't bring myself to be fond of the breeds.

I just think Thank Dog that everyone is different! It would be so boring if everyone liked the same thing.

I admit to a fondness for small bat tempered gits having had a few over the years, and I adore the golden oldies. I have no desire to have a puppy even though I was soooo tempted when I met MAC's puppies yesterday, but that was my heart talking, my head luckily rules and I know that I don't have the right environment for a puppy, or the inclinaction to go through the whole puppy thing.

I have no problem if people say they don't like a breed, but at the same time all I expect if they meet one of mine is to get to know the temperament, so at least they can say "I still don't like the breed, but your dog has a lovely temperament".

I'd be more offended if they thought that I didn't love and care for my animals, that would really hurt me.

Nothin' wrong with the crosses Demi. Might not look standard but they still have eyes, heart, live and love and want love like every other. No matter how good or bad, ugly, naughty or whatever they are, every life deserves love. Check out the staffy pics on here, compared to my staffy cross. He looks nothing like a staffy....lol.....but he just as gorgeous

    Dont hit me

    But Labs.

I have been attacked by a few, and have only really met one or two that I like - I walk one of them 2 times a week - she was crazy at first, but now has learned my rules and is good

one of my most scary dog moments was when 2 labs bailed me up, i had to jump a fence to get away from them.

Oh yeah TB, I agree. labs I don't like. Don't know what it is, I just don't take to their physical appearance.

Same, I've never met a Lab I liked. Weird. Always rude and dominant and pushy. [The ones I've met, I'm sure there's nice ones out there that I haven't met!]
