i like dogs with a real bark, so i wouldn't own a chi or small terrier!

I like the wooly coat and dont mind the maintenance.

i would never own a large dog, i dont have the yard or the time to properly excersize a big dog. I am not a fan of dogs that drool either so i wouldn't own a dog that drooled it would drive me insane!

I don't dislike any breeds, there are some breeds I'd choose not to own simply because I wouldn't feel they'd fit my lifestyle, but in terms of my favourite breeds they are all over the place! Nothing in common whatsoever (apart from being canine!).

I judge a dog on it's temperament alone, I don't think I've ever thought of a dog as ugly, and the ones that are perhaps "thpethial" looking, I love because of it! Like when you see pics of the worlds ugliest dogs, I think they are gorgeous! Maybe it's bacause I'm "thpethial" too!

I think each breed has their own certain cuteness.

Myself I would never go seeking a smaller breed dog, chi's minatures toys etc.

I have always like the boofhead looking dogs (boofhead is said with love - Boof was a name in the maybe pile when we were naming Leo) So wider faces basically.

i've never really been eager to own a beagle, chihuahua, and ive never really loved small dogs (although i have two) still annoying tho and i dont really like the look of those dreadlock dogs .

although like i always say, when i meet any dog i generally fall in love with it and all the judgmental-ness goes away!

My doggy dislikes and likes aren't very breed specific.

I like Staffies. I like Bull Terriers - but if I got one - I'd have to find one that doesn't have a white nose (or likely to get skin cancer).

I love blue heelers and cattle dogs. I like lots of terriers like border terriers, cairn terriers, jack russells. Not so fond of airdales.

Generally not fond of slobbery dogs or dogs that shed in huge quantities or need huge amounts of coat maintenance eg going to the groomer once a month or more often. Not fond of naughty dogs that jump, bite, bark at me. Oops that's sometimes my dog. Ok not fond of dogs that do that to strangers. Ok Frosty barks at strangers but stops when I tell her to - mostly.

I hate when I get jumped on by a wet labardor or golden retriever. So many of those dogs have bad owners that don't train them to behave.

I hate dogs that hump me, or pee on everything (including me and my stuff). This seems to include a fair few boy dogs. Especially un desexed ones or ones that were desexed late - but again - it's more a bad owner problem. I hate dogs that go straight for my crotch. I knew a cocker spaniel like that - put me off cocker spaniels for life.

I like kelpies and border collies, but I find them both quite demanding and the BCs have too much coat - except the short haired ones.

    I like dalmations.

I like dogs that are fast learners - though it would be nice if they weren't focussed on outsmarting me. Some poodles are a bit like that. I like dogs that can solve their own problems even if that means asking me for help - like to let them out the back door when they need or bringing back the empty treat ball when they're hungry.

Not fond of dogs that are food or ball obsessed - or obsessed generally.

Do like dogs that like me, ie like to be around me instead of trying to find ways to escape and tour the neighbourhood.

I like dogs that come when they're called (oops - my dog only does that sometimes).

I prefer dogs that don't nick shoes or other dogs toys - Frosty - that means you.

I dont really know what breeds I dislike.
I am going to go against the grain here by saying I love small dogs.
But I also love the REALLY REALLY REALLY big dogs!

I also really like WELL-TRAINED and SWEET-TEMPERED owners of dogs, who do the right thing by obedience and training

So anything with staffordshire, bull or terrier in the name?

I'm probably going to offend some people here but I'm not a fan of "common" breeds.
Cavaliers, Chihuahua's, Labradors, Shar Peis, Staffies, Rotties, they are a dime a dozen in Tasmania. I don't dislike them, I just see them so often they aren't as interesting to me.

I like breeds that are a bit different, or just one's you don't see all the time.

Hasnt offended me. I feel like I am going to get seriously flamed, but thats... why I like cross-breeds alot. <deep blush> I like how they dont look exacly like the 'standard' of a certain breed. I know not many here would agree with me though
