Haha Clea! Well 'substance' is certainly what you have in your doggies!

What is a SWF? I'm not big on the tiny toy breeds either. Even though Poppy is probably considered 'toy'...is she?

I do not honestly say there is a breed I can't stand. It depends on the dog itself to me. There are however breeds I will not ever have due to theirs and our needs/climate/environment not matching ours.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

Haha! I do have to admit these breeds are cute...but not for me! One of the children at work bought in his 6 WEEK OLD Moodle that Mum got him for PP yesterday! It was SO adorable but made me sad at the same time!!!

I agree! The breeds I dislike are breeds that I know are not for me! BUT doesn't mean I don't think they make great pets for others!

I think it comes down to being uneducated and not understanding HOW dogs behave and play.

I must admit my general dislike of Pugs has come about from Puppy Preschool and maybe it isn't so much the dislike of the Pug breed...but rather this one particular owner who thought Poppy was being a bully because she was jumping on the Pug and rolling around with it! The pug was making all sorts of funny snorting playing noises and the vet had to keep reassuring the owner that is was OKAY!!! Lol!

While I like all breeds I would never again own a jack russell. Way too much energy for me.
Owned 2 with my ex partner, he loved hunting so they were perfect for him. not to say I didn't love them though, I still miss my accident prown little guy but you couldn't pay me to own another one.
Give me a big lazy dog any day

Any breed that is smallish. I particularly dislike Chihuahuas. Hd enough hanging off my arms to last a lifetime. Kind of like I don't like rats either.

    I love big dogs.

NB: Not going to apologise all over the place to anybody here who has a smallish breed dog. Gosh, we'd be apologising forever and there would be no point to this thread.
Should anybody feel 'aggreived' that another member doesn't happen to like the breed they own, please get over it or refrain from reading this thread.
