    He just doesn't think.
dead beat dad comes to mind...sorry if that is harsh but that puts his own child in a life threatening situation...

Im sorry your pups coped a dose of his stupidity too hun. I hope he gets caught out in a storm himself one day.

    OMG Myf

I guess people think we are mad for caring about our dogs so much. It seems to be the norm to treat them like sh!t.

Pugger, if he put the dogs out during a storm, that's just brain-dead. And to miss the medicating of your duaghter, who I assume is HIS daughter also, well that just borders on imbecilic!!!

If this is what he's like, then I can sure understand why he's your EX-husband!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the practical side, can you make a big day sheet with a list of tasks and when they must be done on it?

I'm not sure with the size of your menagerie - that even your kids grandparents will keep up but if it's all written up and stuck to a door where everyone can see...

    7am get kids up
7:15 breakfast, miss 9 medicine, feed birds, dogs (what to feed) etc
3:15 pick kids up from school.

So Mr brain dead can check what he is supposed to be doing. There's probably no help for the things he thinks he's done but hasn't. And it would make it easier for the Grandparents too.

He'd need a reminder phone call to check his list too.

Hubby has an annoying habit of setting 4 or 5 alarms around the house when I'm supposed to do something at a certain time... With a note taped to each one...

Bloody annoying when they all go off at once and I have to find them!

    Can you do this?

Nope, I do forget the odd thing here or there, but not that much.

Hubby does it to wind me up so he can laugh at my reaction when he gets home.... Works every time and is the most annoying thing in the world. Be prepared to come home to someone very put out because they've been made to chase their tails!

ETA: The worst ones are the alarms set for me to find that aren't for any reason they just say "I love you" or sweet nothings. It should make me smile or happy but it just annoys me more!
