Next time maybe Miss 12 can fix things up how you like and remind OH how upset you get when dogs that are not big enough to fend for themselves are left outside in storms. And maybe Miss 12 could ring the person who usually looks after them when you can't for you? It's a lot to ask but you could talk to her about it.
Yep he must have as he also forgot to give Miss 9 her epilepsy medication, so she missed 5 doses.

Miss 12 did remind him that I would be upset if he left them in a storm and he told her that they will be fine and it's "just raining"

    He just doesn't think.

oh pugger I can understand how you feel! If there is a storm warning I will not leave the house unless it's an emergency, I have storm phobic dogs here, and I stress really badly if I get caught unawares and will race home.

Hope you can sort something out for any future situations, you don't need to be stressing about what is happening with your dogs if you are in hospital.

So which did you find out about first? I would have definitely made him sleep outside for that one. I definitely rate the child neglect as worse than pug neglect but ouch ouch ouch.

You are definitely going to need a more responsible person in when you get your back done or for any other emergency when you can't be there. Suggest priming all the kiddies with the number to ring (and tell them to ignore him if he says it isn't necessary).

You can get mobile phones for kids and program certain numbers into them so that they are the only numbers they can call or text.
A prepaid one with just your mobile number might be a good idea

I only found out about the medication this afternoon on the way to seeing a movie when she had a seizure in the car. I asked him if he had given her ANY pills since I was in hospital and he said... am I meant to remember effing everything??? I was FUMING
Oh and then I found out he didn't feed the birds. I asked him what he DID actually do and he said he got the kids to tidy the lounge (took them 5 minutes) and he vaccumed. I am supposed to be grateful.
When I get my back done my mother and mother inlaw are going to be looking after the kids, house, birds and dogs.

Sounds like a much better idea puggerup!

Wow, that's a pretty big thing to forget! Poor girl!

Yeh it's especially hard because I can't just dose her up to catch up.. I have to give her the normal dose and just wait for her levels to rise again. It will take around 3 days for her to be back on track.

I know nothing about epilepsy sorry, sounds like an awful thing for both of you to have to go through though. Give your ex an extra blasting from all of us!

I was away for the weekend so my mum was looking after the dogs. She messaged me saying Lady had run away but she had been found. I told her she's scared of the storm so put her in the laundry, she replied telling me she'll just tie her up
