Well, I had to wait longer than an hour but twas worth it! JK.
TKay, the photos are stunning. Doesn't Jenna looks so...totally blissful to have Mya. It even looks like she is smiling.

Give her time. Yeah, she's thin, but you expected and knew that. She'll add some beef once she's settled in your home full of life and love.

    So happy for you!

    Thanks everyone.

The photos don't really show how thin she is which is why I was a little shocked when I saw her, as I had only seen photos myself. She just ate 3 chicken necks for tea. not a vast amount and it was a bit of a struggle. She wouldn't touch them at first but then I plunged them in boiling water to take the chill off, but not enough to cook them, and she ate the lot. They had come straight out the fridge so they were very cold, maybe that's what she didn't like. I guess we will get to know her likes and dislikes as time goes on. I've never had a dog that didn't just eat everything and anything put infront of her. LOL

TKay, when a dog comes to a new home, you can expect they will be finnicky for anything up to a week. Often they will go off their food totally in the first few days. This is normal. Just keep offering her what you feed Jenna, and sooner or later she'll figure out to eat it or go without. You know how it works.

Yeah, she's thin all right, but you'll be amazed how fast she fills out once a good eating pattern is established by her.

All the best. She truly is lovely.

Tkay, I can heartily recommend GSD's Apperteaser sprinkles, I got some 3-4 weeks ago for my old girl. Some nights I was offering her up to 4 different meals, I figured I had nothing to lose trying the sprinkles. Since I've been putting a liberal dose of sprinkles on her food she's been scoffing the lot!

Might be worth trying with Mya to get her appetite kick-started.

I can't believe you think she's thin! What breed is she?
