    Default Not Long Now TKay!!!

How many days till she arrives? Is the flight, crate all sorted?

Can't wait to see any pics or vids Tkay posts. I know Mya is a mix of something, but some of her looks a lot like a White Sheppie to me. She has the same "soft" eyes as Spirit .... and the fluffy tail & "trousers". She's arriving this Friday if I remember correcty.

I think Mya is a Husky cross. Not sure about the cross, or what with. Maybe Tkay knows?

Oh Friday? Wicked. I'll give her an hour for photos.

I guess Tkay will have a good look when she arrives. As I said to Tkay though when she first realised that she wanted Mya, it really doesn't matter what her genetic makeup is. Tkay has fallen in love with her & that's all that counts in giving this girl a happy & loving "forever home".

I agree. She looks gorgeous. Soon she will have two white dogs! Lol.

If Spirit is anything to go by, they're easy to keep clean. If Spirit gets all muddy, when she dries it just seems to drop off. People call it "teflon" fur. We only really bath her to ease the itching. I have some special shampoo for white dogs & she really "sparkles" when I use that.

Yeah, Inca has a lot of white, and I'm not finding it a problem. Except for when she eats, and the blood turns pink. If I just sponge that promptly though, no problems.

Thanks Guys for thinking of me. Sorry I almost missed this as it had been pushed to the bottom by some serious trolling

Mya is due to land in Brisbane at 10:35am on Friday. I'm so excited, 4 more sleeps. Hopefully OH is arranging crate today.(He'd better be)

According to her microchip Mya is a husky. Not sure myself, supposedly there are smaller, leaner huskies which come from 'running lines'. I'm quoting someone from DOL who appears to know what he/she is talking about and posted some pictures of similar Huskies. As GSD says It doesn't really matter I suppose. Except for all the people who will ask me what she is when we are walking and I say Husky and they say, doesn't look like a Husky to me

Jenna is also a 'Teflon dog' so hoping Mya follows suit. It's amazing she can me so muddy but once it dries it does just fall off. People are always commenting about how white she is and how difficult it must be to keep her clean but it really isn't

At least i will only have one colour fur balls rolling over my tiles (which are white Yay!).

I do promise pictures as soon as i am able
