seriously C&B, it's not good. Everywhere we drove around we got out the car and next minute see a sign - no dogs. It was disheartening, especially having to pile the boys and Inca back into the car all the time!

Will definately call them tomorrow. Will let you know what council say.
sorry was slaving away at my job all day! (would much rather have been home though...)

I've been racking my brains trying to think of places but can't!!! I'll be ringing my mum tomorrow night (I'd do it tonight but it's her birthday tomorrow..) so I'll ask her again if she can think of anywhere.

There's always the paddocks near mum & dad's place... it's huge lol and no-one would care!

Update - spoke to council. There is one beach here in Devonport that is solely an off-leash beach for dogs. It is between two other beaches for ppl. sounds great, and it's just down the road, not far at all. No time limits of only after 8.00 or anything, and doesn't change depending on what season it is.

Inca and I will check it out this evening.

Sounds great DA!!! It's so good that you're getting little Inca out so early on!! I was silly and took everything my breeder said as gospel- so George didn't get to a real off leash park to play with the other dogs until he was almost 18 months. It's hard work to learn dog park etiquette when you're a full grown boof head Newf!! Let us know how you go at the beach!

I will NN. Didn't get there this afternoon, had to take some more Gastro-Stop pills. Thought I was fixed, but apparently not. Grrr.

Inca went to the vets last week, and for the first time I fully understood what you have been telling me all this time about being surrounded within seconds. One dude kept pretending to take her home, she met rabbits, licked an old cat, wanted to play with the kittens, and helped herself into the reception area to visit the nurses. You were not kidding, were you?!
I've been taking her out onto the front deck every morning to watch all the school kids from our suburb get on the bus (the stop is at our front gate) so she at least sees ppl out the front of our place every morning, which I think is a good idea.

She is lovely, and I am stoked with her. She hasn't tried to steal the ironing board yet, though, unlike George.
