Default Help Me!!! Found a Kitten!!

Well my OH came home for lunch and I was doing something in the bedroom. I could meowing and Chewy and Charlie dont meow. I look out the window and there is a kitten laying down where Chewy and Charlie usasally lay when they are outside.

OH thinks is a feral due to it makings. Boss wants to eat and Charlie and Chewy dont want anything to do with it. So I have left it outside where I found it and it safer out there. OH said no to keep it. He said the I will end up being the crazy cat lady from the simpsons.

I dont think its a feral cos I could pick it up and everything

I have put something on Facebook about it, so hopefully someone will know up saying its theirs.

If noone comes forward OH will put it down.

Im just wondering if I has give it some water, because its getting hot outside or just leave it alone.

    YES Give it water

Take it to a pound (I notice you are in WA, and do know that when I lived there, there were no cat laws in the town I was in, so please try to contact vet or something to see if the cat is chipped and let them PTS if need be)

Why can't you take it to the local RSPCA / pound or similar??

when i lived in WA, there was NO pound/RSPCA for cats, they would take dogs in, and tell you to deal with the cat yourself

Thankfully KB Paws started up and they now take cats, but before that, there was nothing

I live Country WA.. My nearest pound is 70kms.

Also OH thinks it might be someone's kitten and its just chilling in our front yard.

If you can handle the kitty then it is not feral. Hope you find it's home quickly.

Thats what I told my OH.

We are going to try and find it a home. If we cant find it a home, it will be put down.

Yes, I am a heartless bitch, but there no point passing the problem onto someone else.

I vote pop some water out there but make sure it can't get to any food. It will go home, it may take a few hours though. Oh, don't pet it or pick it up anymore either - that will just encourage it to stay.
