Good luck with everything, ohh, the joys of a 3 dog home, lol. At least mine knew each other from birth but am expecting the odd problems. Good luck. An hour to post is adequate, lol.

    exactly!

She might be too scared of Steve. You can only do so much and Steve can of course work on that, but we do not want her life to be miserable just because she is scared all the time!

We of course have questions too, so we will have to see

    Dead right, Anne.

I realise that with all this well-wishing from us it may put Cleas in an uncomfortable position, should the dog not work out for Cleas, Steve and Sumo and Ruby.

All the best, I HOPE it works out, but if not then there would obviously be very good reasons.

It's alright...we will not take Dora if it doesn't feel right...if you get my drift!

It has to work for everybody...her, us and definitely our dogs here...they were here first and their lives will be turned upside down too.

We do have a question for the carer (who is her vet too) and I wanted to run that by you, because it has been niggling away at Steve.

Dora came in to the vet/carer with fractured legs the first time when she was 4 months old. The owner stated he didn't know how that had happened...she was in the backyard and it happened. NOW...if you had abused your dog to the point of fractured legs...would you pay for the surgery/treatments (which can be bloody expensive)...take her home just to do it again 2 months later...resulting in even more injury???

I know of course you can not answer that...I was just brainstorming here.

We will ask in details how these injuries happened...what was done...if there are any xrays for future reference etc.
