Lol - be game! It's very safe these days. My brother does it all the time. He's in Christchurch. Did you know that 3 cheetahs got loose at the Orana Wildlife Park in Christchurch last week? Wow, that would have freaked me!

    Oh ****, I'm off-topic, again...

MAC, I am going to do agility with bella until the big one is old enough, but I love big dogs, and I just dont feel secure enough at home when the rents are working late with a little tiny(but Fierce!) fluffball to protect me if need be. I have always wanted to do agility, so if Bella isnt suitable, or doesnt like it, I want to have a dog that I can do it with. I want a big dog for the protection factor, because I love big dogs, and to do agility. When we move onto the block we are buying, it will be in the middle of town, and after hearing all the horror stories of breakins and stuff, I jus dont feel secure enough NOT to have a big dog.

Then the ACD is the dog for you.

Boss only barks when he needs to bark.
Some people are scared of ACD. I was before we got Boss.
At moment Im sitting on the couch and Boss is sleeping, but if I get up he will follow.
If go horse riding (i cant remember if you said you want a dog to go riding with you) he would follow you all day then sleep all night.

lol. I wonder why Charlie didnt say anything about the cheetahs yesterday when he called... Probably because Mum would've freaked. I reckon it would be cool to see cheetahs roaming around the city- just not anywhere near me!lol
My brother lives in CC aswell, along with my uncle and aunt and two cousins. I better stop, im getting homesick! But I have to say, Australia is alot diferent.like, there is a huge market for Miniature horses of here, but they barely exist at home! at least, not anywhere that I heard of em.

yeah. On topic. Im really tempted to go BC. When I lived in Townsville, I would ride my pony frm the paddock down the road to the paddock at home, and there was a BC that would run and bark, but NEVER leave the gate. he would run either side, but never leave the gate. he was stunning.

Off topic, the cheetahs didn't get loose into the city, they just got loose at the park. But while it was open, so ppl were running for the shuttles everywhere. FGS, I would have been up that flying fox quicker than you could count to 3. Um, can cheetahs climb?

Back on topic. Nope, got nothing more to add.
