Default Whats Are the Ins & Outs of Owning a Dog

I'm wanting to know if anyone has any good articles or if theres any on this site that is like a lifelong caresheet for dogs and there needs?

I'm meaning everything from what you should do with your puppy or adult dog.

Then things like vaccinations, nutrition, worming, flea and tick treatments, all the way to bathing, grooming and vet checks.

So yes every single thing to do with raising a dog healthy and happy.

If possible reviews on different types of dry food brands and what else to feed your dog regularly aswell as treats.

Reviews on all the different wormers, flea and tick treatments (tablets/chews/spot-ons), shampoos/flea and tick shampoos. Then any other dog type products that is good to know about.

I'm just looking to expand my knowledge to know pretty much anything and everything about dogs and products as i'm currently employed in a pet store (we don't sell dogs or cats we redirect people to the RSPCA) and don't know to much about dog care at the moment and the products (i'm the fish guy lol) so just want to learn everything I can for my own sake aswell to make sure my dogs are getting the right things and what not.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Most of it comes down to doing your own research and deciding what works best for you and your dogs.

For example: Some dogs do well on processed kibbles and don't do as well on the raw diets, there are other dogs that excel on the raw diet and are affected badly by processed kibbles.

Some dogs will react to vaccines, others won't.

IMO the best way to go is to research everything thoroughly and make sure you look at all sides of a theory. It takes time but IMO it's worth it.
