Default Biggest Puppy I've EVER Seen

Yesterday I went to look at an obedience school and I met a 19 week old Central Asian Ovtcharka who was bigger than a mature rottweiler. I'd NEVER met one before - never even heard of the breed and My Mind Was Blown. Not only was he HUUUUGGGGGEEEEEEEE and Beautiful but he was also gentle and unlike any other puppy I've ever met. Apparently his father weighs 120 kilos! That's TWICE as much as me! According to his handler/owner, he is the first of a litter to be born in Australia.

I just wanted to share because I was absolutely amazed. Also, I can't wait to go back and hopefully run into him again!

    Oh wow, I'm so jealous!!!

I've heard of them, seen pictures of them, but never once seen one in real life of course. That would be awesome!

If I see him next time, I will ask if I can make a picture of him. his name is Oscar btw : ) He was mostly black with white patches.

It's funny that people commented about him looking like a bear because according to his owner, they fight off bears by attacking their knees and then bowling them over with their immense weight. Which surprised me considering his gentle nature.

Also, the owner was extremely friendly and didn't seem annoyed by our many questions : P It was lovely to meet such kind people and in fact ALL the people I met at that obedience club were so friendly and ready to answer any questions. It rocked my socks.

Yup they are huge, but grown up male certanly does not weigh 120 kilos. Unless it's really obese

By standard they weigh max. 65 kilos male and 55 kilos female.

Stock guarding dogs might look and be huge, but they have actually quite light bodies.
