Default River has a forever home

I just had a call from Cheryl in Narrandera. She has been away and just back. She tells me that River has a home in Melbourne, a man, a teacher lost his 19 year old heeler and wants another as company for his jack russel.
Natty, as you know I wiped your details accidently so I can not directly contact you re this change of plans. Cheryl is, as I type this letting Elani know.
I can not thank you enough for your offer of help through RADAR.

River will be taken to Narrandera tomorrow late afternoon where he will be fostered till desexed etc then on to his new home. Bittersweet but I am so happy that my final pup has his forever home. I have been told the man will be happy to give me the odd email.

Oh wow Di, sounds like River is going to a great home - if his last heeler got to 19 he must be doing something right!

I hope he does keep in touch with you, it's always lovely to hear about ex-furkids.

Another sad but happy day for you tomorrow....

Just heard that Jess will be back here for a week, next week as FIL will be away. He says he trusts me to look after her properly, lmao. The two homes policy is on again. Gees it works well, Shadow loved his "holidays" over there.

He has his scented T shirt, a rawhide bone, his written history, my email addy, some supercoat puppy dry and as we just got a carton of beef and a carton of lamb bones and offcuts for 10 bucks the lot, cheryl is getting a bag as I can not fit it all in the freezer. I am donating an unioened can of milk replacer and a bottle, brush, teats. Ohhh goody she said, I have some unweaned kittens coming in, lol.
