    Default Collar Types

I'm just curious about different peoples choices of collars, my choices at the moment are a plain flat nylon collar for while Batty is a pup and I'll be moving to a soft martingale collar when he's older and going into training if he needs it.

Oh, and a breakaway collar while he's running around the house/yard. He doesn't wear a collar when he's in his crate just because I'm paranoid.

    So what are your choices?

Troopa currently has one of the ezydog collars Image View (the red one).
I like the fact that it clicks into place instead of having the buckle and holes since Troopa's such a fidget. It has velcro on the inner side to adjust the size

Pepsi wears a black break away collar, with her tags on it. When we walk she wears a harness, so she doesn't need a robust collar. She also has a purple leather collar with another set of tags on it that she wears sometimes, usually to the beach or visiting my parents house.

i use a thick leather ones for sam coz he ruins anything else ....
except the one he has now is red and when his fur gets a little damp his white collar fur turns pink
looks beautiful after a good wash though, when i wash i use the choker chain, and works well for him, he doesnt pull to hard x

Jenna doesn't wear a collar round the house but for walks I have just bought a Martingale. I was having real trouble with any kind of buckle because she has such alot of fur around her neck. I would inevitably either trap her fur or my fingers on the buckle, someone recommended the Martingale as it can just be slipped over her head. She walks pretty well so i don't really need it for the correction purpose but it's so easy to put in on her.

I do have a normal flat collar for off lead trips to the beach though

Martingales for the pei as anything else would slip over their little excuses for ears to easily! Also use a martingale on Bella as the little dear has sensitive skin and the extra "room" in the martingale allows for her fat neck and doesn't rub lol Bless my little round barrel dog

Edit to add: I dont think you would need to worry about any collar "slipping" over Batty's delicate little ears LMAO!!!!
