Kimba has a Black Collar from Kmart, I think it was $30
It has diamontes in it for a bit of Bling. She only wears one when we are going for a walk or when I go out. (Just in case something happens while I'm out)
Just noticed I still havent got around to getting her an engraved tag..lol So slack, oh well the cheap plastic one does the same I guess.

She also has a Pink one.. can't think of the brand off the top of my head.. Rogz? something?

When I have the $$ spare I want one of the hot pink studded collars from Rogue Royalty.

I have wwwaaayyyy too many collars for my dogs I think lol. I use a halti when walking my dogs so the collars are really just for show.

    Green flat with crystal buckle.
    black flat with small studs.
    limited slip orange Rogz
    red limited slip
    red flat.
blue flat with little dogs on it
black flat with red hearts (made by me)
black flat with silver lace and small flowers (made by me)
black flat with large flowers (made by me)
    Leather flat

When I get the money I'd love to add a Blockydogs collar as well

Frosty wears a rogz for dogz purple lock collar with two lines of reflective stripe in it. That one has her rego disc, her old AWL disk and a Disc with her name and my phone number on it. Some say you shouldn't put the dog's name on the dog collar but I say what the hell. Not that anyone gets her name right anyway.

I'd like to get her a break away collar and a collar that doesn't stretch when it's wet like the Rogz one seems to (or maybe her neck fur shrinks - I don't know).

At training - she usually wears a slip collar.

To go for walks I put the sensible front attach harness on her - but leave the purple collar on too.

Sometimes round the home I take the collar off - especially if we've been to the beach and it's all wet, but it jangles when it's on and she moves, so it's nice to know when she's moving and up to no good (like eating the persian carpet - ARRGGGHHH).

I would love to know if anyone has a neat way of transfering the rego disc and name tags from collar to collar. Not that our councils seem to enforce any doggy rules but that would be an easy one to start with - hmm, no current disc on the dog - here's a fine.

our council gives us 2 rego disks, that makes it heaps easier, our old council only did one and it was a pest swapping them over. What we did in the end was put them altogether on one ring and just attach with a small caribina (from the camping store), it works ok for a big dog but is a bit too bulky on a smaller dog.

Floyd is a very handsome chappie, he looks very smart in his pretty collar and lead!

My dogs don't wear collars at home.

When we walk they wear a black-dog hound collar and the setter wears a padded martingale because fits snug on her slender neck but is easy to put on and off over long ears etc.

    Taya has a few

green nylon with buckle (don't use buckles anymore as this one comes undone when it's wet)
black with mauve strip in the middle with a clip
red (was pink) studded leather collar

and the latest is a pink Rogz collar but it's very faded now

I'm surprised some people don't put collars on their dogs when they're at home - what if something happens and they escape etc?
Having said that though I sometimes take Taya's collar off at night. But even then I'm a bit paranoid - 'what if something happens?' lol

If someone finds your dog and it has a collar & ID it will make it's way home to you faster.

I always find it annoying when I see strays with no collar - makes it very hard to keep hold of them.

I dont put collars on my dogs at home because they play ruff together and I dont want to chance them getting caught on the others collar and hurting each other
