    Thats a good question sometimes..lol

Kimba actually stays on the covers like that until I go to bed and she sleeps under the covers usually on the opposite side of my feet or in the middle (down the bottom) if the bf stays. Never had an issue with everyone fitting, if there was she'd be the first to go..
Not that you would believe me but I spent good money buying her a dog bed. It mostly gets used to sun bake in on the verandah by Buddy.

No dogs on beds here, although Batty is allowed on his own blanket on one end of the lounge. Not that he uses it often - he actually prefers the bean bag!

we dont let pepsi on the bed or the couch, the couch is leather and i was concerned with scratching, she does have her own little room tho, under our stairs we had a storage cupboard, so my OH cut a dog sized door and we put in a hammock bed, some pillows and some blankets, along with a toy box. She is perfectly comfy in her room, in the morning she is allowed in our bedroom to say good morning and if one of us is home sick she is allowed in the bedroom but not on the bed. Our GSD was allowed on my bed but when my now husband some along he had serious issues with sharing the bed, so we never started it with this dog!

    Hi Pepsi

Frosty likes to make her bed at the end of the couch by digging. So you'd be right to be worried about scratching the leather. I don't like Frosty to dig on the couch, there's quite a few protective layers on top of the couch, one double folded blanky, two sheets, a bath sheet towel and a dog cushion with another towel on that..., but she likes to dig down to the couch seat. Sigh.
