    Default No Sense of Smell?

When I throw a toy for bella, sometimes she goes right past it. then she sniffs and sniffs and only finds it after she has gone past it about 5 tims. is this normal?

Dora does that with Kangaro Stick bits if she doesnt see where I threw it.
Not sure if its normal, but some dogs have quirks, I suppose

My brother's staffy has a crap sense of smell - for a dog.

My dog has a pretty good sense of smell - found a baseball in the hedge today - yummy. Oops. The baseballers wanted it back for some reason.

My friend's beagle has an excellent sense of smell - no surprise there.

Different dogs/breeds have different abilities regards smell. If you roll the toy in a tin of sardines she should be able to find it quicker but you might not like it.

Depends on what the toy smells like Brittany. If it just smells like outside because it is always outside might be hard for her to pick it up. Where as if like Hya said you roll it in something smelly she would be able to find it much better.

Often Keira does this sort of things with balls also but she has a fantastic sense of smell.
