Thank you all. Jase just rang from the vet. Bandit has an ulcer on his eye so they will be stitching the 3rd eyelid closed. Jase is happy being there as that is where he used to work.

    Great news Di

I hope all goes well for Bandit with the ulcer.

I know this little one will put in that little bit more of love that will help with your big fight ahead.

I hope all is going well with you and that you are holding in there.

    xx

His bottom 3rd eyelid will be buttoned to his eyebrow to facilitate healing.

Double gakkk, he will be fully inside, no dirt, litter mates allowed etc. Laundry is a hospital room again for nights as it was for the cat. Luckily I have new earplugs to issue.

Son will be picking him up this arvo. We really lucked in as this vet is the only one in surrounding towns who is open today. I did have the option of antibiotics and see how it goes but son, very rightly, on my behalf said no when the vet said the op was a better option. Bye now, I am off to see my vet....errr Doc.

    Gawd Di Dee

I can't quite keep up with this roller coaster ride.

So Bandit gets to stay, meantime he makes a big hole in your wallet at the Vet's, sigh.

I hope you have remembered to tell the rescue people? How are are the enquires for River going (or did I miss that update too)?

Hope it all works out for the best, and I do love your latest hair do.

Poor Bandit - and YOUR poor wallet! So happy to hear that Bandit is staying with you, he'll be a great therapy dog.

Hope the vet, errr doc went well...better watch where he puts the thermometer!

It is a common garden variety button, lol. He was operated on very late and only released to Jase whilst still groggy as Jase is a training vet nurse. Bandit has now recovered well. Pups can stay in the pen a bit so he can go out to pee etc. We will alternate lol. Their pen is 15ft by 211sh and they chase each other around their dog box. Pretty did not give two hoots that Bandit had gone off in the car.
