    Default Beautiful Stray.

Just had an eventful morning with a beautiful stray outside the house. To me, she looked like a rottweiler, but thinner, like she was a cross with a kelpie or something similar.

She had a collar, no tags, and was fairly thin. I just gave her some water. She knew sit and lay down, and was so friendly. Weird thing was is that she sat outside our front door for three hours while we went out =/ She's a devoted puppy (water was after the three hour sitting) xD

I've called the council, and they're coming to pick her up in the next hour or so. I dearly hope that she has a chip. Anyone know if I'll be able to be informed when something happens to her? Such as owners picking her up, etc.?

I didn't think she looked like a dobe. I thought she was just an underweight rottweiler cross. The thinner face made me think something like a kelpie cross. I took some photos if no one minds me posting them? (now that the council has her)

The council got here not long ago (they got here really fast o.O). Apparently when you sign a dog over to the Brisbane City Council, you cannot be informed of what happens to it. Reeeeally hope she has a chip now =/

I thought it might have something to do with any dogs that are put down? I'm sure families would be distressed, etc.

Does your council put dogs up for adoption? If so, I'm sure you could call and find out, I can do that with my council for any dogs I've handed in (I always put rescue against them to make sure they are safe, most get adopted straight from the pound).
