Nah, of course I don't. This forum has taught me a lot about breeds and their owners so I try not to have that opinion anymore.

Not by the breed, but I do judge the way they manage the dog.

we all try not to have these feelings but I sometimes find it increadibly difficult. Over the ten years I did obed training there was a pattern to certain breeds.

Staffords have never seemed a bogan dog to me, then again I haven't met clea face to face

I don't view the owners of bully breeds as bogans, more like...Either wanting to look cool or misinformed. That being said, there is this one guy in my town who owns a staffy and he is a total bogan.

But that's not the dogs fault.

i dont think we consciously judge people but sub consciously i know i do!

people who dress the dog up for an outing for coffee are just plain weird!! LOL!

i also tend to think that people with disobedient and unruly dogs are undisciplined themselves!

    just an opinion!

Please - I really don't want my comment to be taken the wrong way - as I said, it's only the people I've met in person! You guys have totally changed my opinion on a lot of breeds I was previously very wary of.

I don't know that I have consciously judged people, I'm sure I have SUBconsciously judged people in the past. But over the years I've come to not judge the book by the cover - for example I have adopted (and now look after from time to time) a couple of dogs in the past to a young couple that on first glance you'd want to cross the road to avoid...tattoos, piercings etc. You would think they'd have big tough looking dogs, but no, they have 3 totally spoilt fluffies. The "mum" has even had portrait tattoos of them on her back! They are the loveliest people you could meet, and "dad" even came with me to look at second hand cars when I totalled my van last year.

Hehe...I KNOW people judge ME...for having wayyyy to many dogs! I'm sure they think I am a bit of a nutter because of my lifestyle, but I figure if I'm going to be a nutter then it's the best way to be one!
