Smile What is Your Pet's Names and What Does It Mean?

    Hi all,

I was wondering how everyone has come up with the names for their pets?

our dog is Pepsi (black and bubbly), our fish are ebony and ivory (black and white goldfish) and my cockatiel is Wacky (he did silly things when he was little and it stuck).

So what are your pets called and where did the names come from?

    thanks

My boy whippet is Jethro because his breeder named him that and I liked it so it stuck, Millie (girl whippet) is named that as my son kept calling her that even though her original name was Indy. Freya is named that as she is a ginger cat and I didn't want the usual ginger cat names, but I did want a name that reflected on her colouring. Freya was a witch that had a chariot that was pulled along by a golden tiger. Inka (Cat - if you want to see her colour she is the last one in my sig and she is in my albums) is named that because she looks like a bottle of spilt ink and it popped into my head when I was driving her home.

If you have seen pictures of Batty with his ears, and you have seen the animated movie Fern Gully, you will understand exactly why!

Terry was Terry because he was a Terrier...I was an imaginative child lol.

Walt the cat is because I'm a big fan of Disney.

Troopa just seems fitting for his breed. I also got inspiration for the idea from the GSD my grandparents had when I was little, his name was Major.
