    That was interesting

Yeh I didn't even know that they were deemed "rare" when I was getting Blue, I just liked the colour, as most people just have a preference, then I kept thinking why is the colour I like the most expensive!! I think it is a cheek to ask for more money for a colour. But I just fell in love, as I guess some people do with a breed.

It is also very hard to get & or breed a good Blue Kelpie. Hence you very rarely see them in the ring. Blue in the whippet is more common and there are some good specimens out there, although it is a not the same steel colour.

My Decca had a blue dad, and the mum has alot of blue in her to according to his papers. In the litter there were also 3 blue pups, which had already been snapped up straight away, infact Decca was the last pup left of the litter when I went and looked, I just had to take him. But yea she sold the blues for the same pricing as the rest

because people who like them that colour are prepared to pay more, simple as that.

Default big and strong amtafs and weak amstafs

I have several amstafs that are so called not the standard i am a showy and would not own one of these amstafs that fit the standard as they are extremely weak and no bone in them what so ever. I quote the nsw au standard the amstaf should not be tall and racy which these so called show dogs clearly are personally. I think good on theo hes dogs are exactly what we should be aiming to breed if it wasnt for him we would be stuck with undesirable dogs that are more like greyhounds il be buying a dog off him very soon. Anyone that disagrees that's your op-ion but im allays open to take one of my over sized to much muscle amstafs to the beach with a skinny show dog and see what the public thinks:O
