I sort of understand from the sense if someone was saying 'hey human, come here' but...No I really don't get it.

I think I'm somewhere in between - I don't paint nails, or make them wear silly clothes. I will put a santa hat or tinsel etc on them for a laugh to take a quick photo, but generally they only wear coats when it's cold and they need the extra warmth.

They all sleep inside, some in the lounge, some in the bedroom, and some of my boarders I let sleep on or in the bed. I talk to them, sometimes even baby talk (got sprung by a client when I went to collect his dogs, he's never let me forget it).

I don't have children, so my dogs are my furkids, they are the closest thing I have to a family, yet they do have rules (which they make me adhere to lol). I guess the easiest way to describe it is that when they are inside they are spoilt with cuddles, sweet nothings whispered in their ears, but once they are outside they are dogs - running around, sniffing, barking at the horses - just BEING.

I think I've found the right balance for them and for me.

I abused my dogs by covering them in Christmas decorations.
I have a problem with this, and it does happen...
