You would think Dorothy would know better then blaming Boof, expecially since we have security cameras around the shed! I think Dad checked them, basically to see how the Pitty got into OUR yard AND the neighbours yard. We all knew Boof wasnt like that, we didnt need to security cameras too know!

But, yeah, back on the question. I dont know. But its definately alive, loud and wailing like someone is abusing it everyday!
And you and your family tolerate this??? How???

Boof, was apparently barking his head off at the neighbours (owners of Mitzy) who just thought a car was coming in our drive way. The pitty grabbed Mitzy, pulled her through the fencing and up the driveway back up to Dorothy's house.

My dad found the body in Dorothy's yard. He said it was a devastating site, loss of eyes, fur nearly all gone, definately destroyed.

The Neighbours then told us how Boof at tried to warn them, as we both know that Boof was VERY fond of Mitzy and played with her often.

I have been afraid of Pit Bulls since that day, which is why I am so afraid of Mollie being out of my site. Dad is continuely watching to see if the Pitty will coem through our yard again
who identified it as a Pit Bull Demi?

hmmmm...I find this comment quite disturbing! If you suspect the dog is being abused...you just leave it at that? Pitt Bull or not Pitt Bull....it is still a living being!!!

I think the dog needs to be PTS for killing another dog...But I also feel very sorry for it as it's clearly not in an loving home. Is there a pitbull rescue in Australia?

I honestly dont know most of the details
I am sorry, I always seem to make mistakes talking on the net, because without seeing their faces and talking in real-life, I tend to use words that can be interpretted in different ways..
When I said "Wailing/etc/ like its being abused everyday" I didnt mean to say it IS being abused to everyday, or that I SUSPECT it is, I wrote LIKE to give description of the intenseness of the wailing.

I got a bit upset at the reality that maybe it IS being abused, so I pushed dad to ring her up and ask about the barking just 15mins ago. He told me that the dog is howling because Dorothy has been locking it in in an enclosed area while she is out and can't keep an eye on it. I also asked my mum about why the dog wasnt put down and she told that it was because neither side pressed charges. So I guess the Neighbours didnt report it.

I hope none of you get the idea that I 'dont' care or that I am a cruel person. So I just want to clear up by just saying how much I love animals, I have always been a vegetarien due to it. I want to be a veternary assistent when I grow up and devote my life to animals.

I don't know what to say to the rest of your post, but I do this all the time. There's a lot of parents on here who understand we're teenagers and still learning 'netiquette.'
