Default Cool Kids on the Block

    Hey Pooch Lovers,

Thought I'd share a nice story that made me feel pretty good about the young kids in my neighborhood on the weekend!

A lost young pooch (maybe 1-2 yr / kelpie X? - stunning lil boy) had found his way into the area where a couple of the young kids found him on Saturday morning. The kids ranged in age from about 8 - 14yo.

From Saturday morning until Sunday arvo they made up lost puppy posters, they made BIG signs which they placed in front of a few light poles where people walked past, they set up an umbrella for him, bowl of water, food and sat out the front of the house with him and a BIG missing puppy sign just hoping someone going past would see and identify him. When this didn't look like working they even walked him around the neighborhood whilst one would walk him and the other would carry one of the BIG signs and hold it up for cars to see.

Anyways, it just made me feel so proud to know that the kids would go to so much trouble and show so much care and respect for this little lost man. Hats off to em'. I thought it might make you guys feel pretty good to!

    Best regards, SH

Thanks for sharing that event with us SH.
I personally find the youth of today to be bloody brilliant, contrary to what many of the older population tend to think.

Well done to them. I hope they found his owner.

Hey all .. yeah was a really nice thing to see.
"Mister" as he was temporarily named was thankfully micro chipped and relocated with his owners this morning! It was a pretty happy thing for the kids to know he was going home. They ran around on the beach with Lola and Zep this arvie for a bit longer (they missed Mister) hehe, cool kids!
