I know you are biased due to owning APBT's and have just had your second litter. I have said this before to you...whether it was a woops litter or not...it is irresponsible!

Were the owners at fault...OF COURSE! Where the breeders at fault...hell yeah!

APBT were...as we all know...bred for Pit/dog fighting! So was the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I am pretty sure my breed will be the next on the BSL list.

It infuriates me that people STILL breed unregistered AmStaff or X breed AmStaffs. It is headlines like this that proves a point with people how want Breed Specific Legislations!

I agree...it was NOT the dogs fault. The fault lies firstly...with the idiots who bred these dogs and secondly, with the owners.

If it was left to REGISTERED breeders to do the breeding to IMPROVE the AmStaff and their temperament...trying to out-bred this particular undesirable trait, because they love the breed...then the world would be a better place.

You just said that your Mulli is dog aggressive and now she has had puppies for the second time...what can she possible bring to the gene pool of APBT that isn't already there?
The Breeding is EVERYTHING whether you like it or not.

As you darn well know (because I have stated it again and again and again) Mully's aggresion issues are due to her previous owner beating her and being attacked by other dogs.

I NEVER STATED THAT I BRED HER TO IMPROVE THE APBT!!! Whether you agree with it or not it is an opps litter. I have learnt alot about BYB etc since coming here and have learnt from my mistakes!

I have ever right to be bias about my breed of choice....as you have and are!

I wasn't asking for an argument! I was asking a question!!! But yet again you cant refrain yourself from making it personal....surprise, surprise.

You asked a question...I gave you my answer!

Of course you are biased towards your breed...who wouldn't be!

Yes...Mulli's aggression issues are as you stated...maybe the aggression issues are the same for the 2 Pitt Bulls who attacked the old lady, her dog and the guy who tried to rescue them...who knows.

I am saying...it is irresponsible breeding who leads to this...irresponsible owners who are at fault here and people who have no idea what the particular breed is all about. That attack was another nail in the coffin for the Pitt Bull due to stupid owners/breeders.

This just proves my point really...breeding should be left to the people who have an invested interest in the breed...who is doing it to help the breed survive...who KNOWS about the breed standards...origin etc.
