Wow, fabulous news. A new year and a new start for little Nelson.

thank you for all the good wishes!

my husband has not long left on his 4 hour round trip down there and back with the little guy.. i just have this big smile on my face thinking about him trotting around the yard, wagging his whole back end, and terrorising the cats.. lol.. i wonder if his hair has grown much yet..

he is on his way home now.. we know he is a Poodle/Silky Terrier cross now, around 3-4 years old. i hope there is no trouble with his stitches over the next ten days. i have defrosted some chicken necks. washed his bowls. etc.

he started wagging his tail when my husband spoke to him, the staff there said it's the happiest they have seen him look the whole time he was in there. he actually stopped trembling for my guy... poor little baby, he will be fine once he's home again.
