    Default Bam-Bam and the Postman

Our new neighbours are fantastic, and they have two Border Collies, Jess and Bam-Bam.

Hubby decided the other day to trim back the hedge between us and them as we are all in agreeance that a new fence should go up, not this horrid hedge.

So hubby REALLY goes to town with the electric hedge-cutter. Now there are places I can see daylight through! Didn't think much of it, until yesterday...

Postman delivers the mail next door, and both dogs goes silly at him, regular routine, as neighbours both work all day.
Postman gets to my letterbox, where I am down the front rendering the entrance walls. Passes me the mail, then we both hear this rustling noise followed by a whoosh as Bam-Bam has figured out there is daylight showing through the hedge, and pushes his way through in one flying leap!

I jump up to close the front gates as bam-Bam races down to 'get' the postman. Postman looking a bit pale as Bam-Bam parades back and forth at MY front gates. I felt VERY sorry for postman!

I went mad at Bam-Bam between bouts of laughter and he shut up straight away and then very proudly sauntered off back to his new-found hole in the hedge.

Postman was cool. He shook his head and said to me' he loves me so, must be my new aftershave, do ya think?'

Looks like that fence better go up quick smart!

A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.

A friend of mine is a parcel delivery guy- and he gets bitten at least once a week. It's gotten so bad at some places he just pulls up, beeps his horn and if nobody comes they get one of those collection cards.

Bam-bam sounds very determined, better get that fence!
