    Default It Pays to Walk the Streets

    I was off to do the shopping this morning, just closing the gates when i see 2 dogs come around the corner, with a car following them, the dogs walked past me, and the driver asks if they are mine, i said no, but they look familiar, i have seen them about 2 suburbs away when out walking scoobs in the mornings, they sit at the fence and welcome us. I said to the driver , i think i know them, and went for a drive, as i pulled up to the house i thought they belonged to, the lady was getting out of her car, i asked if she had lost her dogs, and sure enough they were hers. i got her to follow me, thinking they would be a couple of streets away now, and my hunch payed off, finding the ratbags cruising around, the lady pulled up next to me and said that her daughter would stay with them while she dropped the baby that was in the back, back of home, i said na, no worries chuck them in the back of the tray, and after closing the window, i dropped them off safe and sound.
    Was a good deed and felt pretty good about it all day....
    I'd never really took notice of them before, but something clicked when they were out the front, and my hunch was right.

    Good on ya mate, always good to see a lost pooch get home. Did you mention she should be more attentive when it comes to keeping them in?

    Shows how much it pays to get to know the dogs in your area. It'd be nice to think that dog owners are keeping an eye out for one another! I hope you get good Karma now!

    Mal, she explained her neibours are putting in a pool and have a temp fence up, we've been having some wild weather and they must have got out in one of the storms...... Hopefully they learn from it and ensure the fence is fixed or keep them in the shed during the storms....

    Great job!
    A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.
