Alright, now I am confused. If she is not a restricted breed, is not registered as a restrcited breed, who is saying that she is a restricted breed?

My vet has stated that she is NOT A PIT BULL!!!!! others however have their own opinion.

She looks like many bully breeds do however but does this mean that EVERY SINGLE DOG that has some form of bully type dog in them should be walking around with a muzzle on???

I understand completely where you are coming from Anne but should I follow all the BSL laws when my VET has stated that their is no need as she is not a pit bull? She is not registered as a Restricted breed as the vet is insistent that she isn't one.

I think this is confusion at its best for me to be quite honest and I know that everyone has their own opinions including the government.
Hey...hang on a minute...her mum is "AmStaff X"/Pitt Bull X? What does that make Bailey???

Its just if your dog snaps, the news will get on it because she is 'Pit Bull looking'. The media don't care if she is or not, they'll say she looks like one to drum up the story.

Have you spoken with anyone who is knowledgeable on the classification they use (not that it is definite or even reliable anyway) such as Tybrax?

Bailey's mum is "AmStaff X" which makes her in the eye of the Law....a Pitt Bull X! JTDNTB owns Bailey's mum...the one who has just had unregistered pups...which makes them Pitt Bull X too...just like Bailey.

    This where it gets confusing.

My vet is adamant that NEITHER Bailey or Mully is a 'pit bull type dog'. I have been told by many however that Mully is a Pit Bull X Am Staff therefore making Bailey a Pit Bull X. Please keep in mind that Mully was pregnant when I got her so I really don't know what Bailey is crossed with.

On the opposite side though I have also had people tell me that Bailey is pure Pit Bull and Mully is just a 'bitza' (obviously without knowing they are mother and daughter)

Does any of that make sense?

    What makes Tybrax so knowledgeable?
