Anne, it is tedious for members here sometimes anyway. Like now.
I'm not sure why YOU are questioning ME about MY questioning SOMEONE else??? Gee, that was a mouthful.

The OP seems to be in a position where he/she may know a fair bit about this proposed new legislation, so it would be interesting to get THEIR personal take on it, and whether THEY think it will ever come to pass or not. One could assume it won't, but hey, crazier things have happened.

On most forums I am a member of Tybrax, and others, regularly post the latest news stories regarding animal laws, BSL and other such matters. None ever post their own thoughts with it.

The manner in which you queried it; And your point of posting this proposed possible new law is what OP? comes across as a little aggressive. I found it to be anyway, hence why I gave you an explanantion on behalf of Tybrax.

Sure, assumptions are bad and you say that you just merely want to ensure you don't assume. I am saying that I find that fact that you query such an innocent thread and the manner in which you queried it to be 'interesting'.

Never the less, I will sit back and allow Tybrax to answer the question if she so chooses, although I suspect she may take slight umbrage to the manner in which she was queried or see the piont as mute and not respond.

As is her choice, Anne. It certainly wasn't meant as aggressive, but ppl take things different ways, as you well know.

I blogged about this. I think that this is a great step in the right direction, even though obviously other factors like the dog's exercise requirements, property, etc., would need to be taken into account.

My thoughts are the same as DH's - how much walking time is permissable? It is totally ridiculous - different breeds and individual dogs require different amounts of exercise.

And there is no way it could be policed.
