i will assume breeder will be registering her on the limited register as i will be purchasing him/her as a companion only, not a show dog.

The waiting time for the de-sexing has nothing to do with whether they are being shown or not, it is 100% TOTALLY to do with their growth and formation.

well...I was just thinking...what if your newfie turned out to be an extraordinary specimen...you still have the option to ask breeder to put on main register.

Oh no, no, no, don't wanna go down that road. *puts head in hands*

Good point though, in all seriousness, Cleas. One never knows, the father is a current Australian Champion.

I added a bit. Just waiting for the go ahead from Mags.

    Puppy Mills
    The Truth
The following information is intended to educate about the sad reality of 'Puppy Mills'/ Puppy farming.
Many of us just don't know about the horrible truth of puppy farming and the fact that it's happening right here in Australia. The fact that dogs are treated like battery hens, kept in cages, usually filthy and bred over and over for their entire lives - All for profit. The fact that many of the 'Puppy Mills' pups will have health and/or temperament problems as there is little concern from the 'Millers' when it comes to that, as it's all about the $, and the huge impact puppy farming has on Animal Welfare and Rescue groups.
This farmer claimed; ‘healthy pets, raised indoors’

    (picture here) (picture here)
'How do you know a dog will have puppies that have stable temperaments and make great house pets - when you're breeding from dogs that have never been one'..
    Helping them is incredibly easy
Do not buy puppies from the newspapers, over the internet, pet classified and most importantly pet stores; this is how puppy farmers make their money
Want a puppy? How about the RSPCA, Lost Dogs Home or a registered, responsible breeder, who breeds to better, not profit.
The fewer puppies they sell, the more likely they are to go out of business and close down.

    (picture here)
'Grooming & bathing is non-existent in Puppy mill dogs. This dog has heavy, urine soaked dreadlocks causing it enormous pain. It is also suffering from ear and eye infections'
