I havent posted for a while because I haven't done anything about getting a dog yet!

But, chance reading of the paper today alerted me to a 4yo Welsh Pembroke Corgi. So I have agreed to adopt her! Though I may still end up getting her a friend!

Oh definately! I havent seen her yet. But she has the white collar and is red on the rest of her.

It turns out that the owners are often away from home for long periods and decided it wasnt fair on her. So in a way, she's used to being by herself. But now she will have company at night with me.

Im so excited! I will find out Thursday morning what time I get her this week. She is housetrained, and apparently a lovely natured dog who enjoys a play and some attention.

Im happy, because I hope I saved at least one dog from having to go to the pound. The owner is really excited that she is going to a good home and is relieved to find someone who just wants her as a pet, not to breed from.

I feel guilty of course, like I am betraying my other furbaby by getting another dog. But its three years this April, and I guess you have to start healing sometime dont you?

You deserve happiness and company and I am sure your other furbaby feels the same way
