    Default Dog Names

I have a name picked out for my next addition, should the puppy be a male. Actually, the family have several in mind, as often a dog will 'suit' it or not IYKWIM.

Problem is, I'm having a heck of a time thinking of names for a female.
(yeah, you're right, I need to get a life! Lol.)

Seriously, if you have any names you think are nice, please chuck them in here for me to look at. Never know, I might pick yours!!!

I like the name Anastasia, but hubby can't get past all the syllables. Lol.

As with my kids, birds, cats, dogs, I wait to see them before naming. I had a name picked out for second son. Took one look, nope, did not suit him lol.

    Alma (latin for soul)

Sorry if I offend anyone by saying this, but I think it would be super cute to have a little girl named Katie

I've only ever had 1 female dog, but I couldn't name her Katie because my boyfriend had a friend named Katie. I named her Keira instead

I LOOOve the name Ursa, Cleasanta. Problem is my 9 year old keeps pronouncing it arsea! So we threw it out in case of offending people, little own the dog.

Know what you mean Di. I wanted to call my youngest son Wolfe, but husband nearly had a heart attack at that. When he came out with blond hair and blue eyes, I thought "yeah, he doesn't look like a Wolfe." Ah well...
