    Haha.
    Thanks everyone

Its actually Welsh Mal, but good guess.
And nope, absolutely no Welsh background.
Australian 4 generations back and before that we were English.
Parents just liked the name I guess.
I used to hate it, especially in school. I didn't get bullied, except I hated having new teachers attempt to pronounce it. I got it pronounced like 'Mif-and-wee', 'my-fan-why' and 'mif-an-why'.
And then of course the funny ones. I never took it seriously. They never said it to hurt my feelings. I don't take myself too seriously anyway. Sniff-and-wee, my-family, my fanny

Malinois, I don't think people are particularly picking on the SBT owners. Its not like they've gone 'alright, lets have a go at all Staffy owners.'
I don't think DH was out of line at all.
Picking on Staffy owners? Why on earth would I pick on Staffy owners? I happen to be very fond of the breed. I was good friends with the club secretary back in the days when they were a very uncommon breed. That was probably before many of the Staffy owners here were even born. Years later I helped out with Staffy rescue in Vic. simply because I liked the breed and hated to see them abandoned and abused.

Get your facts straight before making judgements Malinois.

AussieFloyd chose one paragraph out of a long post and threw a tantrum. I believe I replied in quite a controlled fashion considering the attack. I dont care if she owns a Spoodle or a Setter or a Samoyed. My reply had nothing to do with the breed she owns.

This could be such a nice forum if people would learn a little self control and consider the facts before passing judgement.

If AussieFloyd has a problem with my remarks she is welcome to post here or PM me. She's a big girl and doesn't need you to look after her.
