    My dogs are primarily inside. Why?
    A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.

    I've had both dogs that come inside and spend the majority of their time in the house with me, and I have also had dogs who live outside the house only.

    Keeping fleas off the gentry was pretty hard work hundreds of years ago. Even Kings and Queens seldom bathed, perhaps once a year if they were so inclined. Many people, especially peasants, never had a bath in their entire lives.

    I think being a flea trap and living with stinky aristocratic bodies makes lapdogs the hardest workers of all.

    Why must you take everything personally and get so very angry all the time? Do you have anger management problems?

    I couldn't care less if you dress YOUR dog in clothes. It is simply not something I would do to one of mine.

    I have my opinion and you are entitled to yours. There is no need to stress out and throw a tantrum every time some one says something you don't agree with.

    Why not have a cup of tea and a nice lie down.

    This was a cool thread DA.

    The posts were awesome, gave such a great insight into how we connect and bond with our pooches - and how we see them. I sometimes wonder if mine are too 'humanised' but I can only judge that on their behaviour and general contentment (which I try and keep an eye on obviously) - they are generally well behaved and to me seem content. I like to think I'm a good Dad .. I hope so ...

    I thought I would say one thing that I do which is ridiculous, but they love it - I play songs to them every night on guitar before going to bed. They love it and Zep in particular closes his eyes when we do a tune. I also have recorded Zep doing a 'Arrrghwhooooooooooo' which he does, kinda like a long howl - and Lola who does a bit of an excited growl and quick short bark. So yeah recorded those and looped them a few times and played them backwards and put them on a song. So my 2 are now officially recording stars I reckon . hehehe. Anyways though that was kinda funny and might give you a laugh.

    Catch you all later, SH, Lola n' Zep
