GSD I know your plan: brainwash the potential customers. Must buy treats, must buy treats...

Cheekie Chickie .... I know you bought the treats as a bit of a "try" for your pooch. Your pooch will now brainwash you with "Mummy .... you must buy Happy Paw Treats for me" Resistance is useless Loren ..... "You will buy Happy Paws Treats ...... because you LOVE me Mummy."

And so Loren ... what would like to buy next for your 'loved ones" ? OO look, Christmas is just around the corner ....

I was shocked to find out some dogs can't swim!
the other week when took the dogs to the river (kimbas wheres wally pics) The dogs were racing along the edge of the water and buddy ran into the deep part where it drops off suddenly. He went straight under and really struggled. I dumped my jumper on the ground for my slr and ran in and pulled him out. (hip height water fully clothed!) I didn't even think about it, it was instinct and I knew he was in trouble.

Usually I am upset with wet dogs in the car but that day he could have easily drowned.. If the tide had been going faster I don't know what would have happened..

As for Kimba..I cant even get her near water let alone in it..lol

Congrats on Taya. I really want my dogs to enjoy water.. I live 5 min walk from the beach so they should take advantage of it!!!

Sorry to bump this but just thought I'd give an update:

Took Tay to the beach this morning and she was swimming out to get her toy, no problems! She was doing very well, learning how to navigate the small swell/waves. She swims like an unko but I'm sure she'll get better lol. I'm so pleased because swimming will be good for her seeing she's got arthritis.
