    Thank you. Yes, me too.

I have done very little today but think, think, think...

And like Occy suggested I ask myself - do I really want another Shepherd?
I don't know if I do. Regardless of all my previous years sharing life with this breed, I recognise the fact that this has shaken me greatly.

I agree Laura, I think we would all move on if we found the right puppy for us, and yeah, I think that would also help us to get past it, IYKWIM.

Part of me is saying that it is time to move on and get to know other breeds of dogs, but I don't know where to start.

Must admit I've always loved the Newfoundland, but we can't afford to purchase one of them. Think they are about $2500! No way!!!

    I'll 2nd that suggestion,

Cleasanta, hope we arn't sounding to biased in regards our passion for the SBT, guess we both have become "SBT fanatics".. i've heard some SBT owners say that once you've got the SBT bug in your system its very hard to un-love them or want another breed, guess i've just described myself then

Maybe we are getting a tad carried away here guys, it is such a sad time for her atm. I mean no offense to anyone, just an observation.

I also could be very wrong and this may help distract her.

    Hugs to all.

    Counselor di leaves the building.....lol
