    Paw-sha is right Di dee1 and it means entire breeds can be added to it for banning. Once it comes in for one breed it will be left open for other breeds to be added to it willy nilly by any idiot dog hating politician.

    Yeah thats the RDOWS tracking list, its quite scary huh, if you go to there website and click on the more info link you can view a pdf on all the states America that have them etc and those that decided againsed it.

    The following list contains dog breeds, in alphabetical order, that are either banned from ownership, or restricted so as to make ownership more difficult than owning other breeds, in legislation either passed, proposed, or tabled in venues throughout the United States of America. The breeds are listed by name exactly as they appear in legislation. Redundancy, or misnaming is due to the wording of codes, and/or ordinances. Some breeds are named specifically, some breeds are included by physical description. All dogs are subject to being named.

    Thanks for the clarification guys. They do go over the top at times, as said though, good for a giggle until some moron authorities take it as guidelines for what they should do.

    Why do these banned lists worry you guys. Never bothered me when I owned Pitties, dont worry me now I own Mallies, another dangerous breed apparently. I dont see why working dogs are included though.

    It worries me because I can see it spreading.
    We said they'd never ban the APBT ... mmmmmm

    In QLD there are already some Council Shires where it is illegal to own breeds such as Danes,Shepherds and Rotty's . Where will it stop?
    When the only pet we'll be allowed to have is the one that needs batteries ?

    The list has been circulating for years and from what I could determine when I first saw it , it is based on nothing. Just more internet hype.
    A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.
