I don't envy you that is certain .

In the end just do what you feel you could live with . Its alright for others to get on here and preach but at the end of the day it's you that has to live it.

I don't envy me either, it may all work out ok but I will take all the good vibes I can get till I have more info to go on from my sister. (we are very close and in constant touch always)

Just had a call, secondary bowel cancer suspected but still to test. He requests no treatment just palliative care. I wait for more news to make a decision. Son in Sydney alerted and has my password, credit card details for webjet to book his own flight if needed. Other son near here informed a trip may be happening soon, waiting for hubby to bring a new tarp home from town.

Pretty's whelping area done in the bathroom, still to do shed.

You are going through so much at the moment and it must be hard to cope. I agree with Choppa. All the best.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.

Di_dee1, I agree with Choppa too. For peace of mind and for you to be able to get away, would it be possible to have Pretty stay at the Vet during this time? Just wondering what you can do to relieve the angst and free you up so you can be with your Dad!

    Thats an idea .
Perhaps it could work Didee ?
But then I dont know how expensive it would end up or even if your vet has the facilities or inclination to do that sort of thing.

Good idea and one I had thought of.

Conversation with my father in hospital.

Di...You nearly had me on a plane but I hear you are full of shit. (he is impacted with feces)
Dad, (with only half a tongue due to previous cancer)...but you have always known this..
Di... but now I have proof! both laugh.

His lung and stomach xrays are clear (how the hell could that happen? I have smoked 38yrs, him longer and he only gave up about 5 yrs ago, I haven't)

CT scan and colonoscopy tomorrow which may show more. For the moment it looks like impaction and a tear in rectum. He told me to look after my dog, lol.
