    Q1: thats a APBT yea?
Q2: is that there natrual stance? (very slopped hind legs) or do u train them to stand like that, as ive seen people holding there legs back to train them to stand like that.
Q3: if Q2 no its natural, do Amstaffs have that Stance?

    cheers
    I am SO sorry!
    I completely missed this post

All of the photos are of APBT's

In answer to your question regarding stance.
That , in my photo is natural .
When you see people trying to train them to stand up ,the term is 'stacking' they are trying to get the dog to stand 4 square in a position to show off its top line and overall conformation to it's best.

The natural stance is usualy achieved by the dog itself . Lop is starting weight training so is getting better each time she goes into any harness .

    And the kicker

Amstaff and APBT ( Pit Bull) are the same dog.
Now it does go much further into depth than that very simplistic answer but the APBT came first , the Amstaff was created solely from the APBT .

An Amstaff with no Pedigree papers is a Pit Bull.
No long or short of it either in the eyes of the government when it comes to matters such as BSL.

Hope that helped a little and when do we get to see more pics of your cute lad ?

    You are very welcome

Now may I please just give you a little of more advice concerning your wee fella ?

The symptoms you speak of can bery dangerous in such a youngster , they can also be a sign of something much more sinister ,such as Parvo , which I probably dont have to tell you but is a swift, painful killer and very infectious .

You mentioned elsewhere that your parents are vets ? please ask them to take a look at him and do a test for the virus .
You could be well correct , could be the diet change catching up , in particular if his diet was changed suddenly . But still , it would be better safe than sorry , I know how much you adore the little tyke .

yea mums checked him out put him on a drip today to keep fluids up his getting better, she did a physical and did a few small test's to be sure, at this stage its diet (as it was sudden) his getting better, but if he turns for the worst then we know its somthing more serious, :S
but his gotten alot better since last night, sleeping atm, had lunch before so his eating wich is always good sign.

thanks for your concern and advice

    Again ,you are welcome

And that's fantastic to hear that Mum has done tests and the little man is already on a drip . Also glad to hear he's had something to eat .
But I bet you'll have learnt to never change diet so suddenly again , now you'll know it needs to be done gradually .

Once he is better more pics are a must
