one of my cats does this! the highlight of his day is if he can play with a slightly running tap in the bathtub.. both cats like to play with the water coming out of a downpipe outside when it's raining..

It's very weird to say the least. Scout is just a B&W moggie, not an exotic, so you wouldn't expect him to like water. Having said that, Scout isn't the least bit interested in the birds that come onto the back court yard & peck the grains out of the dogs poo or catching mice. He also doesn't have much of a "voice", so if he wants to get my attention for food, he chucks things from the kitchen counters onto the slate flooring. Little bastard cost me $80 to fix my mobile & I don't use the good mugs for coffee any more. He might look petitie, but he's very strong !!

bravo Lola.. what a good girl!! I once scolded my fox terrier pup for doing his business on the carpet. So, the next time, he did it on the couch with a look that said "well, you did tell me not to do it on the carpet!"

2 of my cats like running water as well, little Stumpy thinks the bath is her toilet too. Learnt pretty quick to keep the door closed. I'll have to find photos of our last cat Sherpa sitting in a sink full of water while I was trying to do the dishes, and the vacum was really his favourite ride, everytime I turned it on he came runnig.
